Bio-Tab
A Major Advance In Preventive Septic System Treatment

Bio-Tab has been specifically developed to provide you with an easy, safe and effective way to revitalize and treat your home septic system. These highly concentrated tablets contain carefully selected strains of bacteria and enzymes. They are formulated to meet the specific needs of your home septic system

The Problem……

  • Slow moving drains.
  • Dishwasher that won’t drain.
  • Toilets that won’t flush.
  • Foul smelling odors.

At best, these problems produce uncomfortable living conditions and interruptions in normal daily activities. At worst, they can bring your household to an expensive halt.

Is Bio-Tab Safe To Use?

Yes, Bio-Tab is non-toxic to both humans and animals and contains no harsh or caustic chemicals. It is non-poisonous, non-toxic, and non-corrosive. The organisms in Bio-Tabs are considered to be environmentally safe by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency).

What makes Bio-Tab Different?

Bio-Tab is carefully designed, time release tablet that sinks to the bottom of your septic tank where build-up problems begin. Powders and liquids wash over the surface with little effect. Bio-Tab’s time release technology gradually dissolves to create a growing area of activity at the bottom of the tank. There self-reproducing bacteria and enzymes quickly grow as they digest and liquefy the organic waste. Bio-Tab is able to establish itself by working from the inside out. Regular usage will maintain your septic system in good working condition.

Why should the septic system be treated?

Recent tests have shown that a non-treated septic system contains very low levels of digestive bacteria. The use of common household chemicals such as bleaches, detergents, solvents and disinfectants, etc. can weaken or kill the already low levels of bacteria in the system. When this happens the waste is no longer being digested and liquefied. The result is a buildup of solids that plug the system and give off offensive odors and gases. Regular treatment helps keep the proper level of bacterial action established and reduces odors and gases.

How often should the septic system
be treated?

For best results we recommend for systems with a 1,000 gallon tank to flush 3 tablets down the toilet to establish action, flushing twice. Then use 1 tablet each month there after always flushing twice with each dosage. Systems with 1,500 gallon tank and a garbage disposal should flush 3 tablets and then use 2 tablets each month there after always flushing twice with each dosage.

Doug Smith Contracting stocks Bio-Tabs. In doing repairs and maintenance we see the need for this product and use it in our own system. Doug has researched several products and the Bio-Tab’s are a much better product than the ones you can pick up at your local home improvement store. Bio-Tab’s are only $35.00 for a year supply for a standard system.
